A suburban Chicago woman has sued Adidas after she tripped and fell in her new Midiru shoes.

The suit filed in Cook County court by Anna Bourtseva claims she fell because the shoes stuck together, creating a “tripping hazard,” the Chicago Sun-Times reports. She suffered bruises, contusions and a disability that required hospitalization.

Adidas should have tested the shoes to determine whether they had “the propensity to stick together,” the suit says, and should have warned consumers about the problem.
