There were already hard feelings about Michael Hausfeld’s departure in November, along with 17 antitrust lawyers, from the class action firm he founded.

So it likely isn’t music to the ears of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll that the firm’s three-partner London office is now defecting to join Hausfeld, too. The move, which will create the first international office of the 30-attorney Hausfeld firm, will be finalized on Wednesday, according to Legal Week.

The London office of Cohen Milstein has been open less than a year, the article says.

“Hausfeld is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and provides legal services in competition law, human rights, product liability, civil rights, environmental law and securities,” Legal Week recounts. “The firm also has US offices in San Francisco, New York and Philadelphia.”
