A company in the United Kingdom is helping law students with internship application forms by providing model answers and editing help.
The company, Oxbridge Training Contracts, helps aspiring barristers apply for pupillages, the one-year training period in barristers’ chambers, Legal Week reports. It also employs lawyers who will provide editing services to applicants.
Oxbridge spokesman John Foster told Legal Week that the company helps 75 to 100 law students each month.
The Bar Council is warning students that using such services “is likely to be detrimental to their applications” for pupillages.
