Tuttle in the Balance (2015)

Jay Wexler, another law professor-author and former law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, wrote this humorous novel about a divorced Supreme Court justice experiencing a midlife crisis. Once known for his strong work ethic and love of legal arcana, Justice Tuttle has become a bit of a slacker, and his focus has turned to his new pastime, “eye-popping” sexual encounters with a series of younger women. Wexler has written hilarious accounts of his own days as a law clerk, but his fictionalized world gave him room to explore not only laughs but the human territory underneath the robe.
