NOTICE BY THE SECRETARY: MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP

The Secretary hereby gives notice to the members of the American Bar Association that the meeting of the membership will be held in conjunction with the 2025 Annual Meeting in Toronto.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE BUSINESS SESSION AND CANDIDATES’ FORUM AT THE 2025 ABA ANNUAL MEETING

The Secretary hereby gives notice that the Nominating Committee will meet in conjunction with the 2025 ABA Annual Meeting on Sunday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET (subject to change) at the headquarters hotel in Toronto, beginning with the business session at 9 a.m. Immediately after the business session, the Nominating Committee will hear from candidates seeking nomination at the 2026 Midyear Meeting. This portion of the meeting is open to all Association members. Immediately after the candidates’ forum, the Nominating Committee will meet in executive session from 11 a.m. to noon ET (subject to change).

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION, BYLAWS AND HOUSE RULES OF PROCEDURE

Proposed amendments to the Constitution, Bylaws and House Rules of Procedure of the American Bar Association have been duly filed with the Secretary of the Association by the indicated sponsoring members of the Association for consideration by the House of Delegates at the 2025 Annual Meeting in Toronto. Copies of the full text of these proposals will be published in the e-book of resolutions to the House of Delegates and are also available on the ABA’s website on the House of Delegates leadership page (summary of resolutions).
