Despite arguments that the ban unduly impinges on drivers’ First Amendment rights, the Florida Senate has voted to prohibit owners from dangling fake bull testicles from the rear of their vehicles.

“Motorists would be fined $60 for displaying the novelty items, which are known by brand names like ‘Truck Nutz’ and resemble the south end of a bull moving north,” Reuters reports . Opponents included Senate Rules Chairman Jim King (R-Jacksonville), who had a pair on his truck until his wife objected.

It is by no means certain that the state’s house of representatives will approve the ban, which isn’t now on its legislative agenda, according to the news agency.
