ServiceNow acquires Armis in $7.75B cybersecurity deal

Artificial intelligence platform ServiceNow will splash $7.75 billion to acquire cybersecurity company Armis.
The two companies announced the all-cash deal in a Dec. 23 press release.
According to the press release, the acquisition, which is expected to close in the second half of 2026, will result in a single platform that will allow users to take advantage of ServiceNow’s AI capabilities, such as workflow automation, while protecting themselves with Armis’ asset discovery, threat assessment and risk prioritization features.
“AI is transforming the threat landscape faster than most organizations can adapt. Every connected asset has become a potential point of vulnerability,” said Yevgeny Dibrov, the co-founder and CEO of Armis, in the press release. “We built Armis to protect the most critical environments and give both public and private sector organizations the real-time intelligence they need to stay ahead—so they can see their entire environment clearly, understand risk in context, and take action before an incident occurs. Together with ServiceNow, customers will have a powerful new way to reduce their exposure and strengthen security at scale.”
According to the press release, cybersecurity is the top priority for CEOs as AI continues to gain a foothold into various industries. Citing a July 2025 Gartner study, the statement pointed out that the worldwide spend on increasing cybersecurity in 2026 is projected to increase 12.5% to $240 billion.
