Firm's surveillance video shows two men running away shortly before suspicious fire
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest seen on a law firm surveillance video shortly before a suspicious fire occurred last month.
The two men are seen carrying a bag that may contain a gas can, then running away without the bag a few minutes later, the Press of Atlantic City reports. The article includes a link to the video.
The fire at Helmer, Conley & Kasselman in Vineland occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 28. The firm is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Another suspicious fire, which may be related, occurred a few hours later at the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office in Bridgeton. Approval is being sought for county government to offer a $5,000 reward in that case as well.
