NOMINATING COMMITTEE BUSINESS SESSION AND CANDIDATES FORUM AT THE 2023 ABA ANNUAL MEETING

The secretary hereby gives notice that the Nominating Committee will meet in conjunction with the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting on Sunday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. MT at the headquarters hotel in Denver, beginning with the Business Session at 9 a.m. Immediately after the Business Session, the Nominating Committee will hear from candidates seeking an officer nomination at the 2024 Midyear Meeting and will review the final agenda and procedures for the Aug. 7-8 meeting of the House of Delegates. This portion of the meeting is open to Association members. In addition, immediately following the Candidates Forum, the Nominating Committee will meet in executive session from 11 a.m. to noon MT*.

2024 STATE DELEGATE ELECTION NOTICE

Pursuant to Section 6.3(a) of the ABA Constitution, 17 states will elect state delegates for three-year terms beginning at the adjournment of the 2024 ABA Annual Meeting. The deadline for receipt of nominating petitions is Friday, Dec. 8. Go to ambar.org/2024-stdel to find the states conducting elections, as well as election rules and procedures.

NOTICE BY THE SECRETARY: MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP

The secretary hereby gives notice to the members of the American Bar Association that the meeting of the membership will be held in conjunction with the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting in Denver.

CONSTITUTION, BYLAWS AND HOUSE RULES OF PROCEDURE

Proposed amendments to the Constitution, bylaws and House rules of procedure of the American Bar Association have been duly filed with the secretary of the Association by the indicated sponsoring members of the Association for consideration by the House of Delegates at the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting in Denver.
