2022 STATE DELEGATE ELECTION

Pursuant to Section 6.3(a) of the ABA’s constitution, 16 states will elect state delegates for three-year terms beginning at the adjournment of the 2022 annual meeting. The deadline for receipt of nomination petitions is Wednesday, Dec. 8. Go to ambar.org/2022-statedel to find the states conducting elections as well as election rules and procedures.

2022 BOARD OF GOVERNORS ELECTION

The secretary hereby gives notice that at the 2022 midyear meeting, the Nominating Committee will announce nominations for district and at-large positions on the ABA Board of Governors for three-year terms beginning at the conclusion of the 2022 annual meeting. The deadline for receipt of nomination petitions is Wednesday, Jan. 5. 2021 DELEGATES-AT-LARGE ELECTION RESULTS

The 2021 delegates-at-large elections were uncontested. At the 2021 annual meeting, the secretary certified to the chair of the House of Delegates that the following members have been elected to three-year terms as delegates-at-large (2022-2025) to the House of Delegates: Jeremy D. Burkhart (Virginia); Michael H. Byowitz (New York); William C. Carpenter Jr. (Delaware); Kelly-Ann Clarke (Texas); Mario A. Sullivan (Illinois); and Susan M. Holden (Minnesota). In addition, Christopher S. Jennison (Maryland) was elected for a one-year term (2021-2022) to fill a delegate-at-large vacancy. To view the biographies, go to ambar.org/DALresults.
