One unidentified person is dead and others, including an attorney, were wounded Wednesday morning in a shooting at a Phoenix office building.

Police have been seeking a suspect, Arthur Douglas Harmon, 70, who has not yet been apprehended, according to the Arizona Republic and KTAR.

Mark Hummels, a partner at Osborn Maledon, was shot in the neck and back as he left a mediation session at which he was representing a client.

He is president of the Phoenix chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and incoming president Andrea Marconi of Fennemore Craig said in an email to members that doctors are optimistic he will recover after surgery, the Republic reports.

His law firm was on lockdown for a period after the shootings, KTAR says.
