LA-Based Lewis Brisbois Opens Atlanta Office With 8 Lawyers, Plans Growth
A more than 600-attorney national business law firm based in California has opened an Atlanta office with eight lawyers and hopes soon to hire at least seven more attorneys there.
Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith has set up a temporary office in the Tower Place building in the Buckhead neighborhood, but “is searching for at least a floor of office space in Buckhead, Midtown or downtown Atlanta,” reports the Atlanta Business Journal (sub. req.).
The 30-year-old firm first ventured beyond California in 2000, by opening a New York office. It now has offices in 16 U.S. cities, 10 of them outside California, according to its website.
