Authorities say an Oregon lawyer who refused to pay for a $200 lap dance led police on a foot chase through a blackberry briar and train tunnel near the strip club.

Dylan Vinzant, a 38-year-old graduate of Willamette University College of Law who was admitted to practice in Oregon in 2017, was at the Sunset Strip Gentleman’s Club in Portland on Friday when he asked for a private, 15-minute dance but then skipped out on his bill, the Washington County sheriff’s office told the Oregonian.

Sgt. Daniel DiPietro, a sheriff’s spokesman, also told the Oregonian that once police caught Vinzant on the other side of the train tunnel, he informed them that he was a lawyer. He was arrested and booked in the Washington County Jail for theft and trespassing.

Vinzant’s arraignment is scheduled for March 11 and the Washington County district attorney’s office is reviewing the case, the Oregonian said.
