The self-proclaimed “Dynamic Trio” at “3 Geeks and a Law Blog” compiled a list “Officially Sanctioned Blogs,” by the nation’s largest firms. The inventory includes 139 blogs from 54 firms in the National Law Journal’s top 250, the blog reports.

The Houston-based bloggers are Greg Lambert, a law librarian at King & Spalding; Lisa Salazar, Internet marketing manager at Fulbright & Jaworski; and Toby Brown, the head of knowledge management at Fulbright & Jaworski. The trio scoured firm websites for any mention of sanctioned blogs and links.

“Some of the blog are featured jewels of the firm, and are proudly displayed. Others are hidden so deeply, that you might think that the firm tolerates some of their attorneys having personal blogs,” Lambert wrote.

The bloggers intend to update the list in future posts to break out firms’ receptiveness to bloggers, which leads the ABA Journal to wonder: Is your firm “blog-proud” or merely “blog-tolerant?” Tell us in the comments below. Updated at 4:17 p.m. to correct Brown’s job title.
