Euro Firm Forms Unique Lobbying Practice
A new law firm that bills itself as “the first lobbying-focused law firm in Europe” has been formed in Brussels. In a split from lobbyists Cassidy & Associates Europe, all six of Cassidy’s lawyers formed Alber & Geiger in the Belgian capital last month, reports The Lawyer.
In so doing, the Europeans are following the lead of U.S. practitioners, says founding partner Andreas Geiger: “We’re following the lobbying law model from Washington [DC].”
