Judge Sends Lindsay Lohan Back to Jail, Says ‘Nope’ to Requested Bail Arguments
Lindsay Lohan is back in jail after testing positive for drugs while on probation in two drunken-driving cases.
Lohan could be in jail until Oct. 22 after Judge Elden Fox “shockingly denied her bail” today, TMZ.com reports. CNN reports that Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, asked the Los Angeles judge to hear arguments for bail, but he refused with one word: “Nope.”
According to the Los Angeles Times, “Lohan appeared tense but otherwise showed no emotion as she was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs.”
Today’s decision was preliminary, CNN says. Lohan is due back in court for a probation revocation hearing on Oct. 22.
