A suspended Las Vegas lawyer was sentenced on Wednesday to three months for submitting phony documents indicating her clients had completed counseling and community service.

She had been accused of filing false certificates of completion of court-ordered counseling and community service on behalf of her clients to the Las Vegas Justice Court.
The indictment had said the misconduct occurred between 2008 and 2010.
A second lawyer, Brian Bloomfield, had pleaded guilty in 2016 in connection with filing false certificates. He was disbarred and sentenced to 90 days in jail.
