ABA President-elect Michelle Behnke recommits to defending the rule of law

In a speech at the ABA Annual Meeting in Toronto on Monday, ABA President-elect Michelle Behnke underscored the association’s mission and commitment to defend liberty and pursue justice.

“Because when we have a strong ABA, we have strong lawyers,” she said. “And when we have strong lawyers, we have a strong defense for the rule of law.”

Behnke delivered the remarks Monday to the ABA’s House of Delegates. She will become president of the association at the conclusion of the meeting on Tuesday.
