A former legal counsel for the Transportation Security Administration has been charged with making a false statement by hiding a second full-time job with the state of Utah.

Prosecutors claim Richard David Wyss held a full-time job as legal counsel for the TSA at the same time we was paid for full-time work with the state, report the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News.

The period of dual employment spanned five years, until October 2007, prosecutors say. During that time he worked for the state attorney general and then the state’s public safety department.

Wyss may enter a guilty plea in a change-of-plea hearing set for Dec. 1, the Salt Lake Tribune says.
