Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized for observation overnight after she experienced a bad reaction to a combination of a prescription sleeping pill and an over-the-counter cold medication.

Ginsburg, 76, experienced extreme drowsiness, causing her to fall from her seat while on a plane awaiting takeoff for a flight to London, according to The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times.

A statement from the Supreme Court said Ginsburg was evaluated at Washington Hospital Center and found to be in stable health. She was released this morning.

Ginsburg was traveling to London to celebrate the recent launch of the United Kingdom Supreme Court, according to The BLT. The blog reports that Ginsburg appeared frail during oral arguments in the past two weeks, but she was “an active and alert questioner.”

Ginsburg had surgery for pancreatic cancer in February, but was back at the court less than three weeks later. She was also hospitalized for a night in September after she felt faint, a reaction to slightly low blood pressure caused by an iron treatment for anemia.

Doctors who performed a comprehensive exam in July found Ginsburg to be in normal health, except for the iron deficiency.
