Airport shuttle driver Najibullah Zazi has been charged with conspiring to use “weapons of mass destruction,” according to an indictment unsealed today.

Zazi was accused of keeping notes about how to build a bomb on his laptop, buying bomb materials and “apparently cooking them up in a hotel suite,” the New York Daily News reports.

Attorney General Eric Holder said in a statement that the government is investigating a wide range of leads involving the alleged conspiracy, Reuters reports. “We believe any imminent threat arising from this case has been disrupted, but as always, we remind the American public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement,” Holder said.

The indictment did not list the intended targets. Zazi was previously charged with lying to investigators. A separate filing alleges other people flew with Zazi to Pakistan in 2008 for explosives training with al-Qaida, the Wall Street Journal reports.
