Median LSAT score hits over 170 for these 17 law schools

While the median score for the Law School Admission Test for the incoming class of 2025 at 196 law schools was 160, at the top 17 schools, it reached over 170, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Twelve of the 17 law schools are private. New York is home to more than any other state—with three—followed by California and Illinois—each with two.

The LSAT is scored on a scale from 120 to 180. All ABA-accredited law schools accept the LSAT, and a growing number allow applicants to submit the Graduate Record Examination, or the GRE.
