Harvey and Aderant announce partnership joining legal work and business of law

Law firm generative artificial intelligence software provider Harvey has joined forces with legal business management platform Aderant.
In a Dec. 15 press release, the companies announced their new alliance and promised to fuse AI-enhanced legal work with business operations. According to the press release, customers can rely on this new partnership from start to finish on their legal matters, utilizing Harvey’s research, drafting and workflow capabilities and Aderant’s billing and timekeeping features.
“This partnership marks a milestone in how law firms operate, connecting the work fee earners deliver with the business intelligence administrators’ need to drive firm success,” the companies stated in the press release.
“The future of legal technology is about making existing systems work together intelligently,” added Winston Weinberg, the CEO of Harvey. “By integrating directly with Aderant, we’re bridging the gap between how lawyers practice law and how firms run their business—something no one else in the industry has achieved.”
The press release also stated that the integration would allow both companies to strengthen their core capabilities, allowing Harvey to learn from Aderant’s data and insights and vice versa.
“Our clients have made it clear that as AI reshapes legal work, the next step is connecting that work to the systems that run the firm. This partnership is the moment where that transformation becomes tangible,” said Chris Cartrett, the president and CEO of Aderant, in the press release.
