A suburban Chicago doctor is accused of targeting the lawyer representing his ex-wife in divorce proceedings by vandalizing the grave of the lawyer’s daughter.

Robert Bonzani of Mokena, Illinois, is accused of spray painting the tombstone of the lawyer’s daughter, who died in a 2002 hiking accident in Utah at the age of 17, report the Herald-News, the Chicago Tribune, CBS Chicago and Patch.com. The 49-year-old urologist is also accused of stealing an artificial tree and photos from the gravesite.

Bonzani is also accused of writing letters to the lawyer, identified as Edward Jaquays, referencing the attorney’s daughter.

Bonzani is charged with a felony charge of stalking and misdemeanor charges of criminal damage to property and theft. Bonzani and his wife divorced in 2012, but a dispute over child support payments is pending.
