Forbes Lists 10 Costliest Celebrity Divorces
Forbes magazine has compiled the 10 most expensive celebrity divorces of the last 25 years.
The pending divorce of Paul McCartney & Heather Mills has been big news this year, but it was only No. 6 on the Forbes list. Most costly, according to Forbes, are the divorces of Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan, singer Neil Diamond and director Steven Spielberg.
Jordan’s wife, Juanita Vanoy, could collect more than $150 million when the divorce is final, according to an Associated Press summary of the article. The estimated payout to Diamond’s ex-wife, Marcia Murphey, was the same amount.
