A solicitor in training at a Leeds law firm in Great Britain is already a pro at delivering a knockout punch.

China Clarke, 32, whose day job at Metis Law focuses on commercial matters, says there are definite parallels between legal work and the boxing ring, where he is undefeated in seven pro fights as a cruiserweight, reports the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“There are many parallels between preparing for a big court case and readying for a big fight,” he tells the newspaper. “In boxing, I look for angles in which to deliver the decisive blow, and push forward methodically to achieve victory–and it’s very much the same approach with law.”
