LexisNexis will discontinue its practice management Firm Manager platform on Oct. 31.

Customers will receive letters about the closure and will be advised to export data from the system before Oct. 31, according to LawSites by Robert Ambrogi. LexisNexis had previously disclosed it would discontinue the platform but had not announced when.

The company will offer Firm Manager subscribers a one-year license and maintenance plan on one of its other practice management platforms, Time Matters and PCLaw, according to LawSites. Annual subscribers who paid during the current subscription year will get refunds.

The free license runs from April 25, according to LawSites.
