Judge Chuck Weller of Reno, Nev., has sued the man who pleaded guilty to injuring him by firing a shot through his courthouse window in 2006.

Weller says in his suit that he suffers post-traumatic stress as a result of the attack, which left him and his secretary with shrapnel injuries, the Reno Gazette-Journal reports. The secretary, Annie Allison, has filed a separate lawsuit against Mack.

Mack’s wife, Charla, was stabbed to death the same day. Mack has pleaded guilty to both crimes but he is seeking to withdraw his pleas.

The suit says Mack became angry in the midst of divorce proceedings being handled by Weller and conspired to attack the judge with other unnamed conspirators. The suit seeks damages of more than $100,000.

Mack’s civil lawyer told the Reno Gazette-Journal that his client, a former pawnshop owner, has lost most of his money and that Mack’s daughter is getting whatever is left.
