A lawsuit alleging Morgan & Morgan was running misleading ads has apparently settled.

U.S. District Judge Mark Kearney of Philadelphia issued an order last Friday that dismissed the case based on a stipulation of the parties, the Legal Intelligencer reports. Kearney had previously allowed the case to go forward, though he dismissed some claims.

The suit by Philadelphia-based law firm Rosenbaum & Associates had alleged the Florida-based Morgan & Morgan ran misleading ads implying that it actively litigates cases in Pennsylvania. In reality, the suit said, the firm had just one Philadelphia lawyer with little personal injury experience.

Morgan & Morgan recently hired a lawyer to become managing attorney of its one-person Philadelphia office, the Legal Intelligencer reported in a separate story. He is Kevin Clancy Boylan, who previously worked at a truck accident injury firm.

Morgan & Morgan founder John Morgan said in a statement on the hiring that Boylan “had a legal career filled with millions of dollars’ worth of courtroom victories.”
