A 15-year-old Mississippi youth is planning to attend law school this year after getting a 174 on the Law School Admission Test.

WLOX has the story on Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, teenager Jimmy Chilimigras, who graduated from high school at age 12 and received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Western Governors University, an online school.

Jimmy’s parents said he showed high intelligence at a young age. He initially had trouble with reading comprehension, his father said.

“We had to have some outside help to help him diagnose, and when they worked through a plan of figuring out how his mind worked, he shot super ahead,” John Chilimigras told WLOX.

Jimmy told WLOX that nothing was “easy,” but he likes learning and he moved ahead because his parents did a good job continuing to challenge him.

Jimmy hasn’t yet decided which school he will attend.

Above the Law noted the story and said the youth hasn’t had an in-person class since graduating from high school.

“The Socratic method is gonna be a real trip,” Above the Law concluded.
