Court Website Briefly Shut Down in Apparent Domain Name Snafu
A website for Massachusetts courts was briefly shut down after officials apparently failed to renew the domain name.
Yesterday, the site was gone and replaced by a notice that “”massreports.com” has expired, the Boston Globe reports. C. Clifford Allen, who heads the Reporter of Decisions office for the courts, told the newspaper he wasn’t sure why the website was down. “If they did send a [renewal] notice, it must have been caught in the spam filter,” he said.
The website was back up today.
