Donald Trump suffered another legal setback in a court ruling this week—or did he?

Trump had claimed in a suit that Morrison Cohen invaded his privacy by mentioning his name on its website and linking to news of its multimillion-dollar recovery for him against a contractor who did work on the Trump National Golf Club.

In a decision released Tuesday, Judge Eileen Bransten tossed the suit, saying the law firm could link to the news stories because they concerned matters of public interest, the New York Post reports.

But Trump told the Post he is happy because last week he settled the privacy case along with a second suit filed against the law firm claiming it had overcharged him. The suit had claimed Morrison Cohen had treated Trump like “a cash cow.”

A “source close to the case” told the Post that Morrison Cohen agreed to slash the almost $700,000 in fees it was seeking to almost half the amount.

Last week, a New Jersey judge tossed a libel suit filed by Trump against an author who said the real estate mogul is worth only about $200 million.
