A 63-year-old security guard being sought for questioning as a person of interest in the slaying of his ex-wife over the weekend has been charged with making terroristic threats several months ago to the woman’s New Jersey divorce lawyer.

A criminal complaint in the Boonton case alleges that Anthony Novellino put Marianne McGlone of McGlone McGlone & Belardinelli in imminent fear of death by telling her “I will get even with you and you will pay,” reports the Morris County Daily Record.

In documents in the divorce file, McGlone said Novellino showed up when she first began to represent his wife last fall, repeatedly told his spouse to shut up and wanted to approve her choice of attorney, the newspaper says.

McGlone and attorney Jodi Durrenberger, who represented Anthony Novellino in the divorce, declined the Daily Record’s request for comment.
