Lawyers contend that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell was “combative, vulgar, disrespectful, nonresponsive, evasive and consistently loud” during three depositions in a defamation case against him.

In a Sept. 7 motion, lawyers for a former Dominion Voting Systems executive are asking a judge to require Lindell to appear at the federal courthouse in Denver for the next deposition in the lawsuit over Lindell’s rigged election claims.

The aim is to maintain decorum and to obtain “contemporaneous rulings” on disputed matters, the motion says. The motion also seeks attorneys fees and costs associated with the motion and the last deposition in Minnesota.

The Hill, Above the Law, the Colorado Sun and 9 News have coverage.

During the depositions, Lindell labeled the plaintiff, Eric Coomer, “disgusting slime” and his lawyer “an ambulance chasing, slimy, scumbag lawyer.”

Besides answering in “meandering filibusters,” Lindell “insisted on various breaks,” the motions says. At one point, he left a deposition to appear on the War Room podcast of Steve Bannon, a former adviser for former President Donald Trump, where he discussed the deposition and MyPillow products.

Various clips are available here.

Above the Law posted one clip in which Lindell took offense when the lawyer said he wasn’t asking about calls for “lumpy pillows.”

“No, they’re not lumpy pillows, that’s not what they call on, OK,” Lindell said. “When you say lumpy pillows, now you’re an a- -hole, you got that, you’re an a- -hole is what you are.”

Lindell continues after an attempt to stop him.

“No, he’s an a- -hole, he’s an ambulance-chasing a- -hole. That’s what you are. Lumpy pillows, kiss my ass. Put that in your book. No, they, they answer anything, any problem customer that wants to reach Mike Lindell, those are the ones, I want to talk to Mike Lindell, I want to talk to Mike Lindell. They send them to here and they go, and they call about maybe they didn’t get their pillow on time because of the FedEx or whatever, but we’ll cover it even though it could be somebody else’s fault. Nobody calls because of a lumpy pillow. But good, good one though.”
