A breach of contract case against Mike Ovitz, alleging that the Hollywood agent owes $200,000 to the law firm that defended him in a civil wiretapping case, was filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, Deadline Hollywood reports.

According to the website, the action was filed on behalf of the now defunct Dreier Stein Kahan Browne Woods George and the bankruptcy estate of name partner Marc Dreier. In 2009, Drier pled guilty to federal securities and wire fraud charges and is currently serving a 20-year sentence.

Ovitz retained the firm in 2005, according to the complaint, and went to another firm in 2009, ;eaving an unpaid balance of $203,881.77.

“The [bankruptcy] trustee previously attempted to collect this balance from the Ovitz parties through informal means. The Ovitz parties, however, failed to provide any adequate legal or factual basis for not paying DSKBWG,” the complaint states.
