A DNA test has proven that a famous chess champion was not the father of a 9-year-old girl whose mother has been battling for a share of his estimated $2 million estate.

But that still leaves a Japanese woman who says she was Bobby Fischer’s wife battling with two of his nephews for the money, according to the Gambit blog of the New York Times.

Fischer’s body was exhumed earlier this year for the DNA test, by order of the Iceland Supreme Court.
