Probe Finds No Evidence of Threats Against High-Profile Teen Runaway

An Ohio teen caused a furor when she ran away to Florida, claiming that she was at risk of a so-called honor killing if she continued to live with her Muslim family after converting to Christianity.
Her family said that wasn't so, and now a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation has reached a conclusion that seemingly supports their account, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
The newspaper says the department has found "no credible reports of threats" against 17-year-old Rifqa Bary, who has been seeking to stay in Florida. The FDLE's official report has not been made public.
